New TV now links seamlessly with old surround sound amp👍
Simple, small and totally effective. Previous link solution DAC through RCA input introduced lip sync delay problem. Toslink to Coax solves problem ….. and it comes with necessary cables. Great price too.

Works well
A handy unit to have if you have used all the optical inputs and your amplifier has only coaxial inputs available. This was my situation, and this unit solve the problem. Power is supplied via a USB lead, so you'll have to buy an additional power supply plug if you want to run it from the mains. As with modern phones, only the lead is included, so I've knocked one star off. It seems to be a generic Chinese unit that is available under several names and varying prices, so watch out for optimistic prices too.

It's simple to use and worked first time.
I'm not enough of an audiophile to comment on its audio quality. My replacement AV amp doesn't have a co-axial digital input (but the manual says it has - thanks Denon) so I needed this to be able to use one of the amps optical inputs, using the amps USB port to power it.It all worked first time and I can now play my Spotify tracks from my PC on my hi fi.

Great little product works a treat
Bought this to convert the digital coax output from my TV to the optical input on my sound bar and this works perfectly giving me much better sound than the previous analogue connection

Causes my soundbar audio to be out of sync with my TV.
This was needed to convert coax audio from my TV to a toslink connection on my soundbar, but it causes a small but noticeable lag, with the TV audio and picture being slightly ahead.
