Best technic set in this price range
I've only built the McLaren in this scale but I have to say that this model was far superior. Both look awesome but the build of the Jesko was far more technical which makes it a really fun build for this price point. It has working doors (look online for better building tips if yours don't turn out great. The instructions don't explain this step well.), a working boot, bonnet, steering, full differential, and engine. It is not as mechanically accurate as the far more larger and expensive sets but for the price point it has a lot of fun moving parts that you get to assemble. As far as Lego goes, $50 USD buys you a lot of fun and a great looking piece. The Senna is a cool car as well but this was the better build. I'm sorry if your 6 year old grandson has trouble building this but that doesn't make it a bad model. Refer to the age range, 10+ sounds accurate.

Solid technic build
Had a really good time putting this together. Instructions were clear and well paced. The operationalized opening compartments and doors are not as well thought out as I feel they could’ve been but it does add enough to the overall build. I felt it was well priced.TLDR: fun build, well priced
