I bought three flavors of this product. They are tasty and satisfying. Good for DASH diet requiring low salt. These are "no sodium".

I give this product 5 stars because its a great all natural snack for kids (and/or adults) with absolutely nothing else in the ingredients besides the Pear fruit (or the apple or the strawberry/banana depending on which flavor you have) My son loves them and we will always have them on hand. With so many other foods its always a concern these days what kind of toxic, or carcinogenic, or heart disease inducing ingredients it has. You can't keep them away from all bad foods, but at least with this you know, its just the fruit.I have two criticisms of other reviews I've seen here though. First, I'm not sure its fair to take a star off for taste, when this is just dried Pears. They didn't flavor these or add anything, they are just selling your dried pears, they taste how they taste! how can you detract a star for that?!Second, some people mention its a great way to get your child their dose of fruit. Well, as much as I love these, do not be fooled. Your child is not getting their daily dose of fruit from these. They are a great, natural, low calorie snack, but they don't have nearly the equivalent nutrition of a fresh fruit. Much of that goes away when a fruit is dried, its just what happens. This is OK, because as much as they don't compare to fresh fruit in nutrition, they are also far lower in calories so its not like they fill the child up and keep him from eating other things - just don't believe that its a substitute for a serving of fruit!

I do like these and think they are a great alternative to most snacks. But there is hardly have any nutritional value to them. Even potato chips have a real potato value left in them. But these have been drained of most all nutrients and fiber! Not so good.Also, the customer that claimed that these are mushy must have left them opened to the air. These need to be sealed shut so the moisture does not get to them because obviously that effect their crunchiness. Even if left open for a 1/2 an hour, might cause a problem with rehydration. It stands to reason, if they acquire their crunchiness through dehydration, we need to try to keep them that way by keeping the package tightly closed. I like to fold a crease along the top of the package after I opened it with my fingernails to make a sharp edge so less moisture can penetrate back into the fruit.It works and it's quick too. Just a thought.These are expensive, so I hope the customer that claimed these are $7.00 cheaper at Costco is right. That is a huge money saver.Thanks for all your information. That was great!

My diet has been limited by health issues. These dried fruits are great when my glucose goes down without spiking it. And they taste great.

I thought they would be crispy like a chip but they are not

I buy 2 cases every month!Each bag is a half a cup of freeze dried fruit and equals a full cup of real fruit!And if you run low on potassium, each little bag is 130mg of Potassium!These are Fat Free, Gluten Free, Peanut/Tree Nut Free, Soy Free, Dairy Free, Non GMO, Vegan, and Kosher, for those who are into all there!Ingredients: Asian Pears! Thats it! Nothing else, No added sugar, salt, nothing!!!!!! Just Freeze Dried Pears!And there WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!
