Reliable and Adjustable Door Closer
I recently installed the Dynasty Hardware 8500 Series Door Closer, and it's performing great. I like the fact that I could adjust how hard or soft that the door opened. I had one on this particular door and you couldn’t already open the door. It was a new unit. This worked very well as well please I had to do no adjustments on it when I put it in.

Fit and Function is Great
We purchased to replace an existing unit that wore out, so I was able to quickly install it. I have to admit however that if it were a new installation, I would still be trying to figure it out. The instructions were poorly written and the figures made little sense. Like a bunch of numbers and lines were dropped on a sheet of paper. The unit is well built and sturdy and I think I expect another 26 years of service with this Door Closer.I would recommend for someone needing a replacement with these dimensions. Allow extra time to decipher the instructions if it is a new install.
