I needed some help with tooth sensitivity. I tried to find something in a store but every single one I came across had fluoride. I didn't want fluoride because it's neurotoxic.I found this and decided to try it.It worked very quickly to reduce the sensitivity, so I recommend it for that purpose. If you're wondering if it's as effective as Sensodyne, the answer should be yes, as they both have the same anti-hypersensitivity ingredient, potassium nitrate, in the same 5% concentration.Some people are saying it tastes awful. This of course depends on what "awful" means to you. If you're used to commercial toothpastes, like Crest or Colgate or something, this may seem very strange to your taste buds. If you're used to more natural products, it is less likely to seem strange. Some mistakenly said the primary flavor is licorice, aka anise; it's not, it's clove. There also seems to be a subtle mint note. Neither are mentioned in the ingredients so either black seed oil has a similar flavor (none of the other ingredients would make sense) or it's an ingredient not listed. I personally love the taste of clove so this works for me.

First thing I did was to look for a toothpaste without FLUORIDE. A long time ago I found this toothpaste. The ingredients are everything I use anyway. Zinc, black seed oil body healthy ingredients. Beyond the flavors and the way my mouth feels after the sonic toothbrush, there is no fluoride which is more than 75% why I even looked at this toothpaste. I cannot tell you how pleased I am , unless you glean it from my words.
